This guide will help you quickly create an intelligent phone assistant using Pathors and Vapi. By integrating Pathors’ state management capabilities with Vapi’s voice services, you can easily build a powerful phone assistant system.

- Pathors account
Detailed Steps
Step 1: Create Vapi Assistant
- Log in to Vapi console
- Click “Create Assistant” to create a new assistant
Step 2: Choose Template
- Select “Blank Template” as your starting point
- This allows you to fully customize your assistant’s behavior
Step 3: Configure LLM Provider
- Select “Custom LLM” in the Provider settings
- This allows you to use Pathors as your LLM provider
Step 4: Set Up Pathors Integration
- Open Pathors console
- Navigate to the integrations page
- Select Vapi integration option
Step 5: Enable Integration
- Enable Vapi integration in Pathors
- Copy the generated integration endpoint URL
Step 6: Complete Vapi Configuration
- Return to Vapi console
- Paste the Pathors integration endpoint into the Custom LLM URL field
- Set up the initial welcome message
Step 7: Publish and Test
- Click the “Publish” button to make your assistant live
- Test your assistant directly in the browser
- Use Vapi API to create phone calls
